Our first outing of the 2010 Spring Season was with Frederick Women's Rugby on March 20.  A great time was had by all and the structure of the day provided an excellent learning opportunity for everyone - it was a good time for the vets to refresh their skills and an opportunity to blood the new girls.  We're glad that Frederick came down and both teams have decided it'll be a season-opening for us from now on. 

We're looking forward to our next match on April 10 v. the Exiles.


The Pax River Women's team was formed in early 2008 by Rich Swann and Jess Gonzalez.  Their goal has been to introduce one of the fastest growing sports in North America to the traditionally softball-oriented enclave of southern Maryland.  Pax Women is still very much a work in progress and looks forward to continuing it's recruitment efforts in the area with a view to fielding a second side in the near future.  

We are a member of the Potomac Rugby Union which is part of the Mid Atlantic Rugby Football Union.

Our home field is located next to Clarke's Landing Restaurant, 24580 Clarke's Landing Road, Hollywood, MD 20636.
